I found this thing crawling on me after picking up sticks and tree branches at a lawn service customers driveway. He puts sticks off to the side which has a dirt patch, some pine trees, and a row of bushes between his and his neighbors yard.

Of all bugs to find crawling on you, this is one of the least dangerous. It’s an arachnid, but a different kind than spiders are. These have one body segment and no fangs. You will probably notice them in dry areas. Totally harmless. I wear jeans for outdoor work too, bugs have trouble sting and biting through them.
I never even knew there were non-spider arachnids.
For me, it’s kind of a game to see how many different spiders I can spot and have ID’d. And I hope it’s helpful to have more data.
