Steatoda triangulosa
Compare it to Steatoda nobilis. Just a hunch.
But not in N. Carolina. It has the abdominal shape of S. grossa https://bugguide.net/node/view/6932 but the legs are pale. The markings are odd, S. triangulosa is the closest for markings. ……….so we’e going with “Steatoda.”
Well, I will agree with S, triangulosa, wasn’t sure with S. nobilis.
Here is my resident S. triangulosa:

She’s cute! I recently noticed that mine get excited when I run water in the sink. I filled a tiny cordial glass with water and put it near the faucet. Now there are S. triangulosa webs attached to the rim of the glass. I’ll add something for them to use to climb down to the water.
Indoor spiders do get thirsty, why you might find them in a sink or tub.
They typically get their water from prey, but that is hit and miss.
