A female Tigrosa genus wolf spider with babies on her back. Don’t spook mama or the babies will scatter.
Thank you. This lady was very calm with me trying to get the best photo I could. My macro lens meant I had to be within an inch or so and she just sat there letting me photograph her.
All of them I have seen are very calm, even to the point of coaxing them onto your hand. Slow and gentle are the secrets.
I have one phone macro lense, a Motorola, that requires getting very close. The Pixel phone camera always tells me to get further away. I don’t know enough about digital cameras to understand that. Non of my attachment macro lenses work with the newer phones. I’m planning to buy a standalone camera soon. I love it when spiders just hang out and strike poses!
I can get awful cose with my LG phone camera, but takes a few moments to focus.
My point and shoot Nicon fails at closeups but have a Nikon D80 with set of macro lenses.
