I have been stumped by this spider for five years now, taking it here to try and get an ID on it. from what I have to guess, it looks like a net weaving spider of some kind, like Deinopidae, though that's my best guess.

It’s actually a male orb weaver. I can’t make out the details but from the noticeable white line on its back ..I think it may be a male European garden spider. Araneus diadematus

That’s my best guess too. Coomo01, The swollen pedipalps near the front of the spider is one way we can recognize a male. Male spiders also have different body proportions than females. Males have smaller bodies and longer legs. Most of the spiders shown online and in guide books are female because the bigger females are seen more often than males. That can make identification of a male spider difficult. I’m going to file the photo to family because we can’t see enough of the features.
