Comments & ID Thoughts

I initially thought she might be a Shamrock Orb Weaver, but her markings are more sharply defined than most Shamrocks I have seen. She has a messier web than a lot of orb weavers, like Cat Faced. Curious what she is.

I think you added a species to our Colorado sightings gallery. 🙂 Like Shamrock and Marbled Orbweavers, this species has assorted color patterns. Western Spotted Orbweavers are usually found on manmade structures. She’s a big beauty!
