Araneus marmoreus, a marbled orb weaver. Cool.
Creepy, thank you, should I look for egg sacks?
Not creepy at all, doesn’t look like she has laid eggs, but soon.
I think she’s A. trifolium, Shamrock Orbweaver, her femurs aren’t solid red and she’s hairy. The black dorsal markings are closer to A. trifolium. She’s definitely cute!
You are probably right. I didn’t spend any time looking at features, and they can be hard to tell apart. Either way, they often get the name pumpkin spiders for the orange ones.Look like carrying tiny pumpkins.
