Apache jumping spider, Phidippus apacheanus. Found in the bottom of my dog’s crate in the living room. White bands on the legs, chelicerae are metallic green in color. The abdomen and thorax are both completely red. It wasn’t thrilled about being driven onto my hand but hung out contentedly and let me get a good, long look before I released it outside. I love jumping spiders!!

Nice find, haven’t seen one in over a decade. The only jumper that ever bit me, my bad for trapping between fingers.
Interesting. The only Jumper I’ve been bitten by was a Zebra Jumper. It was in tall grass and fell into my boot and bit me to escape the pressure from being trapped between the boot and my leg.
