This is called a Celllar Spider, I can’t tell the taxonomy of it more specifically than that. They’re totally harmless to people and pets. They can live both indoors and outdoors. They’re synanthropic – they benefit from living around human structures. The benefit for us is that they catch small insects like White Flies in house plant soil, and mosquitoes and gnats.
