Probably the second largest spider I've seen (first being a black and yellow garden spider). While I'm not afraid of spiders, I will say there was a pretty acute sense of shock when this sprinted out at me from under the couch.

I regret not having better pictures of it, but my best guess is that it was some type of fishing spider. They aren't uncommon in coastal Georgia, and we were living in the marsh near some woods so the habitat would've been perfect.
