Araneus
(Angulate & Round-shouldered Orb-weavers)

She’s an elderly Orbweaver. She’s not in a web because she’s weak and needs some easy living in her retirement era. Orbweavers make the web structure that is used as a design on Halloween decorations. I’m wearing Orbweaver novelty socks right now. 🙂 I’m not sure which species she is. Her body is rumpled from dehydration after making her egg sack. Some possible species: Araneus cavaticus, A. diadematus, A. trifolium, and a few others.
