A common name for these is “House Spiders.” It doesn’t get any more generic! They’re quite harmless and live on buildings and other human objects. They seem to mostly live on tiny bugs. I have lots of them hunting on my house. Sometimes males stay with the females. Yours is guarding her egg sag with her body.
