I always like seeing photos this species. They look too bright and colorful to be in cold northern states. There is a wide variety of colors and pattern combos for the species and they’re all pretty. I have yet to find a spider on any of my rose bushes. They do love briars though and a couple of species of native blackberries have joined the black raspberries in my yard. The thorny plants help keep people on the walkways when they wander my yard. 🙂
