Comments & ID Thoughts
I'm not sure about this one. It looks like a Carolina Wolf Spider (Hogna carolinensis), but it's too big: 1.5-2 inch body length, 4-5 inches leg span. Maybe a Giant Huntsman Spider, genus Heteropoda ... possibly Pantropical Huntsman Spider, Heteropoda venatoria?

Cool! The trick to recognizing this genus is the name Heteropoda. All of the tarsi are at different angles. That gives the spider one foot at any time that is at a good angle for launching itself in the direction of the prey. I hope to find one someday, but they don’t live in Cold New Hampshire ( yet).
Thanks for the tip on IDing these. Always something new to learn about these beautiful creatures!
You’re welcome! Spiders are old life forms, I like how clear-cut and varied their anatomical functional niches are. One of my favorite college classes was about morphology – learning from leg angles, eye positions, tooth shapes, and things like that, what an animal is specialized to do.
