Is this a male Latrodectus hesperus (Western Black Widow)? My coworker found this little guy in the break room in a web under a table, and asked me to relocate it (I'm the office bug girl). The pink blob is the tip of my finger for a (poor) size reference.

Cool, I would have loved to find a Black Widow at work! I’m always the “bug gjrl” too. 🙂 If we do well at it, it becomes contagious. My male best friend is tired of people at work literally screaming when they see a mouse or bug. It’s annoying like the earliest Dr. Who season, in which women just screamed at everything all of the time. So, we bought a humane mouse trap and he saved the mice.
