Awful hard after being hosed down with something, but this is a jumping spider, very harmless.
Thanks for your comment BugmanDan. Unfortunately, your expertise is a little off on this one. This spider is about 2 inches in width and length, far beyond the size a jumping spider could achieve. Thanks anyway!

I think this could be a Mouse Spider in genus Missulina. https://australian.museum/learn/animals/spiders/mouse-spiders/ The 3rd photo down in the link might be it. The cbelacerae are fantastic!
