Comments & ID Thoughts

I'm 0 and 2 on spider identification so I'll present without guessing. I'm cleaning up a shed and came across this spider whilst wiping away layers of webs. I've left her alone and she's since re-built some webbing.

A female southern house spider. These are totally harmless. If you must relocate her, try to see she doesnt drop her egg sac. These spiders are near blind and she may never find it again.
I had 5 of these living in various parts of the house. People that keep them as pets, they can live up to 8 years. No, they simply do not byte humans.

Seconding the Bugman! (: Beautiful, I love these guys! Big but completely harmless spiders.
