I confirmed Tegenaria domestica with Bugguide because they didn't have any Connecticut sightings of the species. I found them in undisturbed dusty places near rodent droppings in closets and a basement. They move like Parson Spiders - rapid and erratic. I could see the palps, the males are out roaming.
