hm, I cant seem to match this guy with any Cali spiders. how big was he? might be a sac spider but the abdomen looks quite a bit smaller, but he might just be starving.

This is a male southern house spider. They are totally harmless.

I knew all of those! Also I’m not exactly afraid of spiders. And I meant that most of the time on here the spider is just a house spider.

You overlook the outdoor garden orb weavers, lots of those too.
Jumping spiders, that is a huge family.

im not saying every spider is a house spider. I’m just saying that the majority of spiders submitted are from random folks that want to know if said random house spider is dangerous.
