I'm back! Thank you to everyone who volunteers here! I'm back in New Hampshire ( for a while). There were many more spiders in Connecticut and many more Black-legged Deer Ticks. I've had three embedded in my skin in the last two months.

I think this is Leucauge venusta, but there are many variations in the markings of the ones I photographed.

Thanks! If it helps, what we do here is guessing, scientifically. We just do our best to give people a good idea of what they found. The original goal was to decrease people’s fear of spiders by teaching and being enthusiastic. We can do it! 🙂
