https://www.bugguide.net/node/view/3353/data I don’t know which Platycryptus species this is, there are at least 3 possibilities in your region and the visual identification clues are vague. The link is to genus info on Bugguide. If you create a free account on the site you can click “data” to see the locations of the photos submitted to their site. I don’t know the gender. It is easier to find male jumpers in this time of year. Their pedipalps aren’t as visually gender dimorphic as many other types of spiders.
