Wow! The photo shows how the layer under the chitin grows and forms panes that mirror light in many dkrections. That’s really cool! The “venusta” name references the mirror of the goddess Venus. The dual layered flat clear planes work the way plastic glitter works. Glitter is 2 types of plastic bonded in two planes per fragment.
