My wild guess is that this is a Latraductus geometricus. I am presently cleaning out a garage in Omaha, Nebraska. And this was in a rough-spun web in a garage. The garage hasn't had any other humans in it for several months. There are webs and bugs everywhere, and at least another two webs with this species of spider in it. Each spider is about 1 meter away from the other.
