These are stunning. 🙂 I’m not afraid of spiders at all, but the one time I saw this species, I admit I was a little bit creeped out and took a step back from it. They look mechanical to me.

Quite harmless in spite of size, actually, one of a few spiders they let children handle at bug fairs.

What I found interesting is I have 3 of them, 3 different sizes all spinning there own wed per size. they are all connected to the main web structure though.
