Who is this? Initially found in web suspended above hot tub and fled to anchor threads when approached. This is an adult and has two babies positioned next to her main web. Upon observation she liquidizes her prey.

I think she’s Leucauge argyrobapta,but not sure enough, so I labeled her to her genus taxon. The little spiders at the edge of her web are probably males that are considering attempting to mate with her. Female spiders are often giants compared to the males. The females are hungry because they’re feeding their eggs. It can be deadly for a male to step into the web. They’ll touch the web to tell her that they are there and that they are not food.
