I couldn't get it better but I found this in my baby boy's towel this morning. (I am in France)

I think the pose and very shiny big eyes are probably indicative of a wolf spider, do you have other pics?
I believe this is a wolf spider, Lycosidae family.
Although capable of biting, they are not prone to unless provoked.
They are venomous but not considered toxic to humans or pets.
