We think this is a spider bite, please note large bump above the elbow.

This is not consistant with any spider bite. Likely some rash or skin condition.
If this persists, I would go to a clinic and have it examined.
Any itching or irritation you can deminish with a bug bite cream or even sunburn spray.
seconding, i see no resemblance to a spider bite here. keep a close eye on it, note any other symptoms that arise, and i’d recommend saving this photo in case it’s useful in the future. apply anti-itch cream and be gentle with it. a cold compress might also be helpful in case of burning or just general discomfort. my personal and strongest recommendation is to contact your doctor about this as soon as you can, especially if you don’t have a history of skin conditions that manifest in ways similar to this. good luck! signed, a chronically ill girlie who… Read more »
I agree. We aren’t supposed to try to diagnose anything here……but we always try to help anyhow. It could be a contact reaction to a plant. That happens to me often. My inner elbow and backs of my knees do that red swelling from thermal change excema. That comes from wearing plastic fabrics and going back and forth between hot hunid places and air conditioned places.
