I found it inside my house in a corner in my living room on the roof. It was fairly small, it could fit on my thumb with it's legs about halfway spread out. It's "head" (cephalothorax) was a deep red or black color, it's abdomen was a light tan color with identical brown patches on both sides of it's abdomen and it's legs were a transparent yellow color. I am not sure it was in it's web or not. I saw it dangling from a strand of silk and it seemed to be on a web of some kind but it was on the roof so I couldn't get a very good look.
