Comments & ID Thoughts

Hello! I'm new here! This spider has a large web on my front porch, and moves SWIFTLY! Is this a Brown Sailor Spider (neoscona nautica)? If not, can you ID, please. Male or female? If it is, I read that it is native to the Philippines and an introduced species in the Americas. Is there a US range? How common or widespread? I have another photo I will post. If there is a way to post more than one photo of the same spider at a time here, please let me know. Thank you!
