I found this in the spare bedroom just chilling on the wall above the bed. Is it moving particularly fast? Doesn't have the right help size to be a hobo spider. It has a similar coloring to a spider whose name I don't exactly remember, but ends in zelotes. I suspect this is some kind of harmless grass or ground spider. They're super common in this area, but I don't know what exactly.
The photo doesn't show it well, but I can clearly see its eyes. It has two rows of four. The spinarettes are quite large and they're tapered cones. It has darker knees and very dark toes. Its palps are not enlarged like a hobo spider, but they are darker like many of these spiders in this area.

The spider has been safely deposited outside. It crawled away.
Also, I didn’t say so, but it was photographed inside a slippery plastic container that the spider could not climb out of, and the tape measure is in the same focal plane, so the spider is just about an inch and a quarter long leg tip to leg tip.
