She's having a meal so please disregard the brownish mass she is holding. I live in a wooded area and her web is across my window. There is another spider(not photographed) nearby. Is she a banana spider?

Yes. This is a banana spider or golden silk orbweaver, Nephila clavipes.
I agree, I’m glad you explained that she was eating, it looked like she was wearing a mask and wig. The other spider nearby, if it is smaller, would probably be a male trying to approach her carefully to mate.
