Picture of unidentified spider

Comments & ID Thoughts

This large hary spider was in a dead area do a large tree mid day at Six Mile Lake near Bena,MN. First saw something move quickly up into the hollow area, and thought in might have been a small bat. Later the spide came out into the sun. Estimate the body to be 1” and total length about 2” without extending the legs. Second picture shows large egg sack under the body. As we camped, checked several more times, including late night, and never saw again. What was it? Looked similar to pics of Barn funnel web spider, but was much larger than what I saw for that Spider.
