The spider is 4-to-5 centimeters, and was capturing insects in its web above a pig stye. There were 5 mores of its kind very close, but with it’s own webs.

This may be a species in the Anelosimus genus. It is important that you mentioned that they live close together. Anelosimus sp. are social spiders that live in large groups like ants and bees do. There are videos online of “spider rain” in Brazil showing thousands of Angelosimus eximus spiders dropping from overhead webs together as part of the way they hunt.
