False black widow? It lives next to the step into the house from inside the garage. It has a foot (at least) wife web that is very sparse and messy. It is active through the day and night intermittently - but note that this is a dominantly dark room. We had one of these in the same place in our garage in our previous house in the same geographic location in Colorado, USA. We've seen them in their website from about February through to September.
