I have seen a couple of these around my house. I was scared it was a tick. Then I counted its legs, is it 6 (being an insect) or is it 8 (can't tell if the antennae are counted as legs)? I would like someone to help so I can have a piece of mind at night.

spiders always have two body parts, like the head and the butt are two separate distinct units
if it has one body part it’s not a spider
looks somewhat tick-y but ticks have 8 legs and if those front ones are antennas then not a tick
