It has pinchers where the mouth is, reminds you of a spider looking scorpion, don’t worry it’s neither of them. It’s a cousin. They real name is Solifugae, but also go as Sun spider, wind scorpion, aka the camel spider they’re typically found in desert climates common in south west u.s. Middle East , and few other desert countries odd to see one in the great white north. I’ve had few encounters with them on deployment and at my duty station. Non-venomous.
Tried lol, I had a few of them pop out of the porta Jon during deployment and in the field at the worst time while sitting… it’s what it reminded me of.
That looks like a male sow bug killer, also known as a woodlouse killer. Their jaws look like that so that they can pierce the hard exoskeleton of the wood lice to kill them. They have a painful bite so I hope you’ve kept your fingers clear. They can be aggressive so I’d suggest you let this one go away from the house. Here’s an image that should match your spider.

Thank you! Sow Bug Killer seems exactly it, based in photos I’ve seen online. Thank you!
