From the leg and body shape, that looks like a huntsman, a male. They do tend to get into houses and will bite if provoked. Their bites can be painful if they are big enough, so if you see one; just take a cup and a piece of paper then toss it outside. If you are all too squeamish, just let them be, they don’t want to bother you.
