I think it may be a dark fishing spider? It’s covered in tiny black hairs and it’s mostly Black and Tan with some white. I’d also say the leg span is close to maybe 2 1/2 or 3 inches?

If you can confirm my suspicious or identify this spider, thanks in advance!

I’m fairly new here and don’t quite know how to edit a post, but I’m mistaken on the size. It was probably only a little over 2 inches. It was hard to determine because I didn’t have a ruler on me.

I agree. Looks like a dark fishing spider or one of the close relatives in the genus Dolomedes.
