Picture of unidentified spider

Comments & ID Thoughts

I captured this spider in a cup and when I went to move it outside I accidentally killed it. We live next to a wooded area. I have seen lots of wolf spiders but this spider is smaller and not hairy, but rather shiny/glossy and is a brownish, almost reddish color with white spots on it's abdomen. Just from a quick Google search I believe it may be a False Black Widow.
