Comments & ID Thoughts
Found this spider in my garage. He is substantially bigger than other spiders I have seen here in Oregon. It didn't run, it put its front legs up at me. Does anyone know what kind it is?

That’s probably a Giant House Spider (Eratigena atrica) https://spiderid.com/spider/agelenidae/eratigena/atrica/
It’s not agressive, its bite isn’t dangerous to humans, and it helps keep hobo spiders out of its territory.
Fun Facts Hobo Spiders aren’t a threat and have a bad rap for no reason. Per Oregon State website on Spiders of Oregon facts. Save a Spider and help the worrld.
