Never seen anything like this coming from western Canada - based on google search and picture it may be a yellow sac spider? Photographed in Nova Scotia just outside of Halifax.

Hi, it isn’t a yellow sac spider. It looks like it might be a male shamrock orbweaver, Araneus trifolium. It doesn’t look like most of the pictures you’ll find. I’m going by the peachy color of the abdomen and the markings that look like eyes. Males aren’t seen as often as females because they’re much smaller and they mostly hide except when they travel to mate.
