Comments & ID Thoughts
Not sure what this is. Was crawling up the wall in the bedroom. If anyone can ID that would be great. Thanks.

Found one of these crawling on my floor. Would sure like to know if it’s a widow before it becomes a dead spider.
I hope the spider survived. It is an orbweaver, possibly Nephila clavipes.
Survived! We always take them outside. We are spider lovers.
Awesome! Sorry it did turn out to be a widow type of spider after all! The good news is that false widow types of widows (yes that sounds illogical, that’s the problem with common names) – anyhow false widows kill black widows and ticks and other things we don’t want around the house.
Hi, this is a male Black Widow (Latrodectus sp.).
Male Southern Black Widow, Latrodectus mactans.
