Comments & ID Thoughts
Found indoors in Sterling, VA. Ground floor, no basement. Crawled across carpet and into baseboard before able to catch.
Brown/reddish in color with lighter abdomen. Body about the size of 4 uncooked grains of rice and nickel size with legs.
Suspect brown recluse (Loxosceles reclusa) but I don't recall seeing violin shape or number of eyes.

I think I saw one of these in my garden-level apartment in Blacksburg, VA. The one I saw was much more vibrant red though. It might be a broad-faced sac spider or a woodlouse hunter? (I’m leaning more towards the woodlouse hunter for my case)
