Assumed nocturnal as never seen during day. Found 5 in last 3 days at bottom of swimming pool (dead). Found in the mountainous, developed, residential area southwest of Xàbia, Spain. Never seen live specimen so not sure of natural habitat.

Looks like Cyrtauchenius walckenaeri
Thank you MarcD6! Any known issues or dangers you might be aware of? Google isn’t giving much to go on.
I don’t know much about this species in particular, but my guess is that the bite might be painful because of the big chelicerae, but not medically dangerous, as with most of similar species.
