Araneidae - Orb-weaver. Picture is the underside. A female that builds a spiral web in the evening between our rainchain and side of house. She cleans up web by morning and disappears, probably into the opening in the bottom corner of the siding. She has been sitting in the middle of the web for about a week. Tonight she was joined by a spider that is a bit smaller. Might be a male but could not get a good picture.

You have a female arabesque orb Weaver there. Only the females build webs and like to sit in the center of their webs and wait for food. Very entertaining to watch them make the web also. We had one on our porch named Elnore lol.
I had one yesterday come at me while i was messing with a rope. He was aggressive and scared me when i didnt know he was there. Well he is no more. But today isaw another one smart as can be. Got puctures. Looks just like this one
