Some kind of crab spider I am thinking. Found another white one nearby, also submitted. Neat spider! Plus I read it likes bees, bees and wasps have been all over these allium flowers this year, so these will be happy spiders!

Pretty sure this one is a Goldenrod Crab Spider like the lighter version I posted…so neat to see the different colors!!
Yes, it looks like you got to see the cool color changing ability of this species. I’ll watch for them on my neighbor’s Allium plants this year. Yes they eat pollinators. That’s what they’re doing hanging around in camo on flowers. It’s fair, some wasp species do very unpleasant things to spiders.
