Found this on my trampoline this morning. We had gone camping a free weeks ago, washed and hung all the blankets on our fence. The kids threw the blankets in the trampoline yesterday. I'm this guy was hiding inside one of the blankets or sleeping bag. He initially ran towards me then slowly walked away.

Hi, she looks like a Hentz Orbweaver, Neoscona crucifera. Orbweavers like fences for one of the places they build webs and like you said, she might have been sleeping in the sleeping bag or a blanket fold. When humans don’t provide sleeping bags, orbweavers rough it by taking a curling leaf and wrapping it around their bodies. They use a little bit of silk to tie it or glue it closed.
