This spider was found on my car door on a rainy day in the suburbs of nyc. It was a fluorescent green is yellow color – like the color of the soda Mountain Dew. Actually looked like it was glowing!!
I believe that you have a green crab spider. I also saw one on my car here near Kingston, NY just a few hours ago. Perhaps it was hitchhiking. Scientific name Misumessus oblongus
