These seem to love the railing on my porch during warmer months.(they take care of gnats and the mosquito population so I've left them be till now)

It is tan with a warm dark brown colour at the joints, it has cream colour on the underside of it surrounding a dark brown area.

I'm posting it to figure out what it is and whether they are harmless or if they need to be relocated from my porch.
Any information is appreciated! :)
