Can’t make a guess. It was around the size of a dime (leg span) and characteristics of a jumping spider (movements, and way it raises its front legs)

Definitely a jumping spider; I would check out genus Phidippus.
Definitely some in that genus that look the part.
I’ve never seen a jumper that big before, and first with that color pattern. Thank you for your reply.
