Comments & ID Thoughts

Found this little cutie while working. I don't know if the colors are clear enough, so I'm going to describe them. Brown Fangs, Grey head and top of thorax, Red/Maroon towards the bottom of the top of the thorax. It's legs are red at the base and "knees" with Black and Bone White/ Whitish Yellow stripes in between. The underside of the thorax is black with two big yellox dots towards the back, several small yellow dots all around, and a yellow stripe/gash in between the big dots. If it helps I think it has 6 eyes and didn't seem to be agressive. No idea what kind of Spider, don't know much about them.

Hi, I think your spider may have been Argiope argentata. The Argiope spiders build big round webs and hang upside down. They are really cute and surprisingly metallic looking.
